The University of Helsinki, Finnish Forest Research Institute (METLA) and Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) have the pleasure of hosting the 6th International  Symposium on Ecosystem Behavior, BIOGEOMON 2009.

The BIOGEOMON symposium focuses on biogeochemical research at watershed, landscape and global scales. Besides the traditional themes of previous BIOGEOMON symposia, the Helsinki symposium will include biogeochemical aspects of wetlands, bioenergy production, atmosphere - forest interactions, and trace metals.
