LUMONET is the Finnish Clearing-House Mechanism of the Convention on Biological Diversity. It is an Internet-based biodiversity information system.

LUMONET is mainly about Finland. If you want to learn more about the Convention and global biodiversity issues, check out the European Community Clearing-House Mechanism (EC CHM) and the global Clearing-House Mechanism.

LUMO is an abbreviation of "luonnon monimuotoisuus", which is Finnish for Nature's Diversity.
