Phosphorus concentrations in the Gulf of Finland are higher than last year, because of the movements of deep water in the Baltic Sea. American ctenophores were only observed in the southern parts of the Baltic Sea. Research vessel Aranda measured also salinity, oxygen and nutrient concentrations and temperature during its four weeks tour. Moreover, data was collected for studies of carbon dioxide cycle and ctenophores.
