Restoration and management of water bodies

In Finland there are more than one thousand water bodies that need restoration. The number includes lakes, rivers, streams, bays and minor water bodies. The decreasing financial support from the government is decreasing, but expert assistance is offered to anyone interested in waterbody restoration. These webpages form a knowledge database on waterbody restoration.  The aim is to offer expert advice in an easy accessible form as a part of the function of the Finnish Watercourse Restoration Network.
