The updated environmental programme of Pirkanmaa for the years 2006-2010

In the updated version of the environmental programme of 2005 new objectives concerning the nature and environment of the area were set. The environmental programme was updated in cooperation between different parties and residents of Pirkanmaa and the ELY Centre (formerly Pirkanmaa Regional Environment Centre). The process was directed by a group consisting of influential forces of the region.

The objectives for creating a good environment concern all people in Pirkanmaa. The purpose of the environmental programme is to support their work in order to improve the state of the environment in the region.
