Information on climate and climate

FINESSI is an open access web tool for exploring the impacts of climate change in Finland in the 21st century. The impacts are presented in the form of maps and the future climate is represented by scenarios that are based on output from global climate models. FINESSI may be of use, for example, to environmental authorities, town planners and industry. The pilot version of FINESSI is in English, but Finnish and Swedish versions will be added later.

LIPASTO is a calculation system for traffic exhaust emissions and energy consumption in Finland. The web site introduces the system with its submodels and the results. In addition, the emission model TYKO for machinery  and unit emission pages will be presented.
