The reform of regional State administration was carried out on 1/1/2010. The tasks of the Regional Environment Centres have been transferred to the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment. Responsibility for environmental permits now falls to the Regional State Administrative Agencies. More

West Finland Regional Environment Centre

 

West Finland Regional Environment Centre is a regional public administrative state authority managing and guiding environmental matters. The Environment Centre cooperates with other regional authorities and participates in regional development.

Our work and operation covers the area of three regions; South Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia.

The 55 municipalities of the region attend to local environmental matters.
